And so it begins. I’ve committed myself to #30DaysofBiking in April. Which means, for all you dumb fecks, that I’ll be riding my bike everyday in April. The mass bike ride is in its 2nd year. Read the origins story here; I’m too lazy to summarize it for you. But basically, the point is to ride your bike every day and then share your ride on Twitter, Facebook, blogs, etc. So that’s what I’m doing. Inundating my social media networks with my rides. Enjoy.
Day 1: I finally tacked a hill I’ve been avoiding. The first time I rode up this hill, I had to get off and walk to the top. That’s humiliating. This time- no problem. I’d been a little droopy lately because I don’t feel like I’m seeing any progress. But a ride with a friend last week and this hill have made me realize that there has been progress! While I still don’t love hills, I don’t dread them either. Progress!
(and btw, totally stealing the picture/post thing from @cyclebordom, my favorite person to follow on Twitter)
